Our view is that children deserve the absolute best, all day, every day, not just when an inspector is present.
What we do?
Kate has an amazing talent in assessing provision from a business perspective. She draws on her wealth of experience in the industry to support clients with business development, support through the Ofsted registration process, acquisition structures, marketing and promotion, social media, staff recruitment, and a wealth of personnel issues. As Kate has been a CEO of a leading early years chain, and Jo has been one of Her Majesty’s Inspectors (Early Years), they have an extensive breadth of knowledge and experience.
Jo is a highly experienced inspector and has an eye for quality and detail. She can incisively review a provision and quickly and precisely identify what is working well, and what could be even better. Jo knows the inspection framework inside out. She tests out staff knowledge and makes sure they really understand the setting’s curriculum and what they know about compliance. This is all done in a very supportive and confidence-building manner.
Jo and Kate are also highly experienced trainers. They have a passion for inspiring staff and empowering them to be the best practitioners they can be. The training sessions Jo and Kate deliver are highly engaging, interactive, inspiring and highly informative. Our testimonials confirm how much our clients learn and how highly influenced they have been by our sessions. We can deliver training on an extensive range of issues. Typically, our clients ask us to deliver sessions on curriculum development, early years pedagogy, EYFS teaching good principles, the Ofsted inspection framework, safeguarding children, promoting language and communication, effective care of children aged under two years, and mathematics in the early years. But we can write training packages which are bespoke for what our clients need. Kate is a qualified Forest School Leader and an expert in mindfulness, so if this suits your brief, we can adapt this for what you need.
We offer one-off visits to your setting, or we can devise a programme of specialist support packages exclusively for you. This can be right from finding the best premises to open and register a nursery, through to quality checking potential new acquisitions.
